Over the years our Tailoring has specialised in hand-finished formal wear, tailcoats, morning dress, dinner jackets, liveries.
Dinner jackets are only worn at night, after 6 pm. The jacket can be single- or double-breasted, with peaked silk lapels or a shawl collar. The trousers feature a thin band of black satin applied on the outer seam, known as a galon stripe.
The dinner suit is the most elegant form of male attire for a daytime ceremony. The traditional version is unmatched, consisting of a black or dark-grey jacket, subtle grey/black pin-striped trousers, and a light-grey or cream-coloured waistcoat. Black lounge suits, whose components are made from the same fabric, have tail-less jackets.
Tailcoats are men's formal attire par excellence. The black jacket is double-breasted and short-waisted, with peaked lapels in silk, and has the unmistakable "tails". It should never be buttoned up, but worn open over the white waistcoat. The trousers are distinguished by a double galon stripe.
Our atelier also creates ordinary and gala uniforms for all Italian and foreign armed forces.
